In аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê, a lobbyist is anyone who receives compensation to encourage the passage, defeat or modification of any item before the Board of County Commissioners

Lobbyists are required to:

  • Register with the County annually.
  • Report each meeting with any county commissioner.
  • Report any expenditures for lobbying activities.

To better serve the citizens of аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê, the Board of County Commissioners hires lobbyists to assist us in gaining support for key issues and initiatives.

Florida’s Government-in-the-Sunshine law safeguards every Floridian’s right to access any government meeting and public records that are not exempted. You can easily request public records from аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê government.
